So I know you've heard about e-file.  After all it has been around for more than 20 years. Last year nearly 90 million people, including me, electronically filed their federal tax return.  The system is super safe.  It cuts down on mistakes, and ...... you get your refund so much faster than mailing in a tax form.  So what are you waiting for?  Get all the e-file information you need at IRS.gov.  And file your tax return using e-file this year.

If you e-file, you will get a refund in as little as 10 days if you use direct deposit. It is also more accurate than paper filing and many taxpayers qualify to both prepare and file their federal taxes for free with IRS Free File.

Check out Free File, only at irs.gov, and even if you don't qualify for Free File, see if your software company charges a filing fee. Some software companies have actually waived the filing fee for this filing season.
